Food. Good, high quality, locally produced food. That's what this event is all about. We will have producers of cheeses, pickles, preserves, ice cream, confectionery, cakes, chocolates, breads, pies, pâtés and much, much more. And most of them will be offering samples of their ware, for you to try before you buy! This is the Wargrave Food Fair and it's a must for anyone who's even slightly interested in real eating.

And to complement the food, we will have local brewers, cider makers, wine producers and cordial makers selling their products (and also offering tastings, of course). Naturally, there will be a licensed bar and places to buy your lunch! To add to the foodie theme, we will have on-stage demonstrations - starting with a master butcher who will show you how proper, traditional butchery is carried out, and followed by live demonstrations by local celebrity chefs, giving out the secrets of some of their best recipes.

Are you torn between this event and the Open Gardens? Don't be - we have arranged for a minibus to take you to and from Mill Green to each of the Open Gardens, and back again if you wish, and it's all for free! .
