Balls too big and pockets too small? Try the Snooker Evening, the Festival's most profound event where aptitude is irrelevant. It's a 'speed-doubles' competition that is better run than the 2010 Commonwealth Games. So says New Delhi Chief Minister, Sheila Dikshit.

Turn up, play, eat man-made sandwiches and drink real ale in a bar described by Brian Blessed as, "so small, I hid it in my beard".

In an innovative PFI-cum-Big Society deal, we have a sponsor this year. Local wine suppliers, Purple Foot Wines, offer tipples dubbed as, "the finest wines available to humanity" by Richard E. Grant in the film, Withnail and I.

Sadly, Alex Higgins, Ronnie James Dio and the cast of Glee won't be with us this year. Screw Back!

Thanks for your support. See you in 2013
