This popular Festival event allows access to some of the best gardens in and around the village.
Wargrave has a wide variety of gardens ranging from those with sweeping riverside lawns to intimate courtyards hidden away behind the High Street and Victoria Road. All have their attractions for newcomers and established residents alike. The Open Gardens weekend offers the opportunity for us to explore them all at our leisure with the chance to sit and relax mid-way round with a cup of tea, biscuits or cake and soak up the atmosphere. The selection will include the Wargrave Allotments, a tranquil 6-acre spread where the vegetable and fruit enthusiasts will offer samples of the rewards gained from their hard work and horticultural skills.
Don't fancy the walk, or perhaps you want to be on Mill Green for the Taste@WargraveFestival food event? Don't worry - we have arranged for a free minibus shuttle service, which will cruise around all the locations all afternoon. And this applies on Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets will be available on ticket sales day and later on from local shops, or from the organisers or on the day at the each of the Open Gardens. See map for gardens
